Engineering An Apology

TIA for the bandwidth; thought this should be public.

I apologize for the badge engineering crack.  For some reason, I've
always been sensitive to this issue.

As has been pointed out, there are many jobs with the word engineer in
the title.  Eric certainly has a wealth of knowledge and experience,
which noone has questioned.  I appreciate his past advice on matters
mechanical and on driving.  I also appreciate his forebearance when I
asked him silly questions.

Hopefully, until this thread dies its lingering death, it will now at
least be humorous.

Current project is to create a deputy's badge for my four-year-old to
wear, and so will sign this,
