re:link rod for 90/Coupe?

 I just fixed mine last night and it was the link rod.  Just remove the
link rod (2 17mm nuts), remove the spring clip from around the boot, clean
and pack with grease, reinstall all parts.  That was the left side and the
noise has since gone away -- I'll probably do the right side as well later
this week.
