V8Q fuel pump

     Jeez! all this talk about failing/noisy fuel pumps has certainly 
     cursed mine in the V8, it's been scream'in for last few months.
     So I figure I better change it now before it fails on me during
     rush-hour on rt 3. I checked the replacement procedure on the 
     factory fiche - looks easy. There are of course the ubiquitous
     "use Audi tool...." throughout the procedure. Anybody know if 
     factory tools are required for this job?...helpful hints?
            Also, local dealer Pass & Weisz wants 150 for the Bosch
     unit. Anyone have a cheaper source or different manufacturer?
