Automotive Books Relevant to Audi

On Tuesday Lee Levitt asked for help putting together a list of
Audi-related books for a website.

I have a soft-cover book entitled A History of Progress 1988, published
in house by Audi. There is no ISBN, no author. In fact, the only
publication reference consists of Audi's Ingolstadt address on the back
cover.

The text is a comprehensive history of the lives and times of the
companies that comprised Auto Union (DKW, Wanderer, Audi and
Horch), as well as NSU which merged with Audi circa 1969 under the
VW umbrella. There's something here for everyone: product
development, engineering achievement, racing history, business and
manufacturing review, personalities, etc. However, the corporate bias is
all-present. Auto Union's involvement with the Nazi regime is glossed
over, while objectivity sometimes is sacrificed in order to portray events
in the best possible light. The perspective can be forgiven, as long as
the reader is aware of it, given the wealth of information provided. I
know of no other comparable source.

Every historically-minded Audi fan would want a copy. Unfortunately, I
haven't a clue where to obtain one. I don't even recall where I got mine,
probably at a used book store somewhere in the U.S. (I seek out used
book stores wherever I travel). Does anyone know whether they were
available originally through dealers' parts departments?
