S4

Apologies for asking this, but as a relative newcomer to audis, saw a 
beautiful S4 w/ WVa plates at the local dealer recently.....what 
distinguishes this model from the (more common, at least 'round these 
parts) A4/A6?  Also, dealer as a new A8 on the premises......$60K+, but 
looks to be worth it, if any car is....hey, me and my 87 5kcstq just keep 
on truckin'.................

Finally, anybody have an opinion on a non-quattro 100 wagon, 89 vintage 
(I believe)?  Thinking about a second audi when I get ready to turn the 
ford windstar back at the expiration of the lease.......
