If you have a reputable gauge, then 22psi is 22psi.   Maybe its too hot 
to do anything, I understand that, but it is still 22psi.

I found similar results on a couple mods.  The boost would go down, but 
the car felt better, indicating that you/I have increased the efficiency 
of the system.

That would be fun in a 5KCSTQ!  :-)   Here in Flint, you find Grand 
National motors in all sorts of vehicles.    I have a friend with a 4wd 
S-10 with a Grand National motor in it.

How much larger than the stock intercooler core is your upgraded core?   
I was thinking about building custom end tanks for a stock 5KCSTQ 
I'cooler core, making it a single pass.   (Its been done by others here 
already)
