If the door panels have been off, it's possible that the vapor membrane
(plastic sheet) under the panel has been misplaced.  It should have a
flap that hangs inside the door and guides water from the window seals
to the door drains.  If it guides the water otherwise, it can accumulate
inside the car.  --Gary
