4kq trunk gas struts

Just put new gas struts in the 4kq's trunk on Sunday, and it works just
great.  At anything over half open, the trunk rises by itself! 
Yesterday's lesson was if you can compress the old strut by hand AT ALL
its NO GOOD.  The factory part no. is 811 827 552A.

BTW got the struts from European Precision located in Houston, TX phone
713-974-5854.  Ordered 'em on Tue got 'em on Fri.  They use factory part
numbers and their multipage catalog has many factory parts I haven't
seen before, like fenders and OEM mufflers even for my '80 5ks.  Of
course, YMMV :-)
