Audi A3/A4/A6/A8 DIN radio adapters

This question keeps coming up regarding fitting a DIN sized stereo to
Audis, her is the factory solution:

The original Audi part number you are looking for is 8D0 035 459 A. You
need two.
As usual, by the time you go to order the suffix may have become B or C,
but the number should be correct.  The adapters screw in with two
self-tapping screws each.

These adapters come with the radio (hole) cover plate if you order the car
with no radio.
