hello audi-ites.  Jimbo here.  86 5KS air cond problem is history and
now after the 92-100CS whine, coming from blower.  SEveral listers tell
me this is pretty common, most make some kind of noise."  Anyhow, it's
reeeeeealll annoying.  Cools ok, but high pitch whine off and on,
(mostly on) is driving me crazy.

I read a procedure in arcs. about using a steak knife to facilitate
blower removal.  Didn' go through with it, because not sure if procedure
applies to 92-100CS.  Writer had 87 5KS.

Can anyone give tell me if process is same?  If so, don't know how I'll
get my big meat hooks down in there. And... per procedure, install
reverse of ... how does one go about undoing step which says :take mongo
driver and break lower screw off?  Lastly, if an when I get the blower
out, any idea what will fix it?  Sounds like something lightly touching
squirel cage blades.
