The newer Gammas (I don't know about the older ones) are Blaupunkt. The
little LED should flash only when the car is off.

When I got my '93 90 the LED didn't work at all; it was because
something wasn't connected properly. This is the only problem I ever
had with this car that didn't involve replacing something--they figured
it out pretty quickly. Have the dealer check it out.
