Heavy clutches.

For what its worth, when my clutch was replaced a month ago, the release
shaft had to be replaced as it was not straight. The garage reckoned that
the reason for the heavy clutch was the lobes that act on the release
bearing had lost their cam profile through wear. With less leverage on the
release bearing the clutch feels heavier. The part is 30 odd quid but it is
obviously better to have it replaced when the clutch needs doing anyway.
