Another interesting note on my '87 5000 S Quattro... My stepfather bought
this car new from the dealer.  He ordered it, rather than buying one off
the lot.  They didn't have one on the lot with a 5-speed.  When he got the
car, it came with *two* owner's manuals, neither of which was specifically
for this car, as the dealer explained there was "no owner's manual
specifically for this car, but between these two manuals, everything should
be covered."  I'm not sure whether the dealer was telling the truth or
covering up the fact that *they* didn't have the right owner's manual, but
I found it amusing either way. :)
