Jeff,

I had a similar setup on my 5KCSTQ for the last couple
autocrosses. I had 245/45-16 on the front on 8.5" wheels, and 225/50-16
on 7.5" wheels on the back. The car handled like a dream on Waterford
hills! The understeer was gone, the balance was incredible, and the
braking was incredible. Steering feel was much improved over regular
tires too. The tires BTW, were well worn D40M2s. They are noiw
completely worn out though, so I put the 215/60-15 D60A2s back on the car
this week. Poor car looks emasculated. Its much more pleasant to
drive though.
