Michele at Goodwood

Although the S1 didn't run at Goodwood because of a timing belt failure, 
Michele did actually complete a run in a "standard" Sport quattro that was 
brought down overnight from Historic Motorsport at Daventry.
 
ITV have just screened a further Goodwood programme following today's coverage 
of the German Grand Prix, making the best out of a rain-soaked weekend at 
Goodwood.  To judge from the ITV coverage, it only rained for a few minutes.

The only non-exotic car marque on display amongst the Lolas, Chaparrals, 
Ferraris, etc., was Audi - with the Silver Arrow and the Sport quattro.
 
The coverage of Michele is excellent.   First, because she was faster (in the 
rain) than the Formula 1 cars - under a minute compared with Jody Schecter's 1 
minute 20 seconds.  Second, because they interviewed her after the run.  It's a 
_wonderful_ piece of video.
