RE: Headlight covers, Griot's or Stongard???

You may have seen them on my car at Mt Washington.  I got them through my 
local dealer.  Rocks don't bother them but other cars do (you should have seen 
my bumper/fender crome trim).  I'll call him tommorrow to see if he has a 
source.  They were from Australia I recall, when I was down there all cars had 
them (or something even more solid).

I've seen Lexan covers that mount in front of the lights.
I bet these are far more effective and would have no
negative effect on temps or bulb life. I don't know where
to get them or the price.
