Cruise control failure

My UrQ cruise would shut off with the turn signals. Turned
out to be a corroded contact at the rear brake lights. Are
your turn signals dim? I found a black spot on the spade
terminals in the mas connector in the trunk. Upon further
investigation it turned out to be a carbon trace right through
the connector. I drilled out the black spot, soldered, and filed
smooth again. Works fine now.

Mine is much worse. It switches off if I use the turn signals.
Most likely
the wires from the switch have frayed and broken.

This is possible in your case. It could also be the switches
at the brake
and or clutch pedals. See if it cuts out if you touch the
pedals _very_
gently. If not, suspect the wires at the switch.
