Having replaced all the hoses and adjusted the switches, the reason my cc
fails is when neither brake light is working (the control unit dribbles a
small signal to ground through the brake lights).  Re the vacuum switches at
the pedals, did I understand a post a while back (Graydon I think?) to imply
they are not threaded - so when I think I am turning them out a thread or
two I'm really just spinning in place?  Hmmm...
