headlight help
Ahoy all electrical tech types:
Hooked up the high (inner) beam on the twin bulb euro Ur-Q lights in the
following manner, and found the following problem.
The main (H4, outer bulb) connector has three wires; yellow, white and brown.
Determined that white was the high beam, so I spliced it and the brown
(gnd?) wire and hooked up the other ends to the inner, high beam bulb.
Worked fine . . . for about 5 minutes . . . then no high beams at all, H4 or
otherwise. Fuses look good, and there are relays in place.
What is the likely culprit? Was it a bad idea to splice at the connector
instead of the relay?
TIA,
Duane
