Audi Factory Alarm Question
There have been a few posts about integrating a factory alarm with an
aftermarket alarm (and an additional post about forcing locks open with
a hardened key, thereby defeating the factory alarm). The latest post
is:

Unfortunately,

What if you simply disable/disconnect the door lock alarm switches?
Then forcing the lock with a screwdriver, or key of sorts won't turn off
the alarm and enable the ignition..... you have to use the infra red
key every time.... which is similar to using an aftermarket RF based
remote??? What are the vulnerabilities (IR doesn't work every time
perhaps???!!!#@%$?)
