It's not uncommon for the little rubber things to have fallen in the
door, and they're hard to find unless you feel around for them. If
they're missing, you might look in the bottom of the door.
I broke one when I was putting Dynamat (sound dampening material) in the
doors, and little pieces of that work pretty well. (Dynamat is a brand
name, they're sometimes called Q-pads) It's a kind of rubbery asphault
pad. Anyway, I had a few scraps left over and they worked pretty well
to replace the rubber thing. You need to use a hair dryer to heat them
up or they won't stick very well, but they work pretty well.
