Re: NEQ Corral '97 - Audi-Mt. Washington Hillclimb

Fellow Q-listers:

It is unfortunate to hear that there were repercussions from this year's event. Needless to say, I guess next year, we will just have to try to control ourselves, and be on our best behavior in order for us to redeem ourselves. And to Bob's point, hopefully, he can persuade AoA to give away some "stuff" so individuals aren't "forced" to come up with their own "souvenirs".

So, in the interest of peace and harmony, with regard to the fencing, I strongly suggest that no pictures of the fencing (i.e. at St. Louis or at Pike's Peak) be posted up on the web. It could only make matters worse with respect to AoA (and the folks at Mt. Washington), and could jeopardize any future planned events. As uncooperative as they (AoA) have been in the past, we need to try to build a bridge... not burn one down. I've since revised my web page to NOT include any such pictures.

The Mt. Washington and Pike's Peak events were a fantastic time had by all. Let's keep that in mind, as we look forward to many more!!

Best wishes!!
