Re: NEQ Corral '97 - Audi-Mt. Washington Hillclimb

Phil made an interesting point; I wonder just how many Audis, in total, are
represented by the NEQ? Not mine, I'm not a member, but hopefully that will
be rectified in the near future.

There was a comment made by an Audi official at the Mt. Washington Hillclimb
which, more or less, colored my view of them; we (unnamed participants) had
heard that there were complimentary shuttle tickets to the half way
spectator spot and all we had to do was ask a certain Audi official. We
asked, but were told that they were intended for, "Our people". Funny, we
were wearing our NEQ badges, sporting our Audi hats, and one of us was an
NEQ "official", but we still weren't "his people". What a jerk. As I see
it, Phil's group certainly has a more agreeable position with the
manufacturer.
