That's probably the first time I've seen heard an Audi owner give the
Syncro such praise...its really appreciated.
(1)  It's more than "a few" mechanicals...
(2)  We have the 4.11 final drive (insert tongue out character here)
(3)  Rear suspension from the 911.  (Semi-trailing arm)
(4)  Very neutral
(5)  Fewer of em  ;-)

We just had this discussion.  Just because they share the same pan
and some  other mechanicals they are not the same car.  Drive them
side by side and I am  sure you will see MAJOR differences in the way
they handle and the quality of  the cars.  Probably the biggest
difference is going to be a more sporting  character
