Loosing (sic) my grip (... no Audi content)

Sorry about this, but I finally have to comment on the rampant
misspelling/misuse of the word(s) lose/loose/losing/loosing in
various recent postings.

Generally the words that you want are lose and losing (NOT loose
and loosing). For example, you might "lose" your wallet - unless
an escaped convict stole it, who would be on the "loose". If I
continue with this email, you could say I'm "losing" my mind. If
I set the dogs on an intruder, I would be "loosing" the hounds (or
letting the hounds "loose").

OK, I think I've gone on far enough and you get the picture. I
just felt it had to be said. Please forgive the bandwidth and
lack of Audi content - I will pray to the Audi gods for
forgiveness.
