Hi folks,

My CHP buddy called me today to see if I wanted to join him for lunch..,
being lazy and wanting to cruise around in his LT1 Chevy CHIPPIE car.., I
told him to come and pick my butt up.., He also wanted to see my '67.., he
owns a '94  triple black Roadster..

On our way to lunch.., He had his radar unit on.., this is the newest,
trick setup.., very small unit in the upper left side of the dash..,
antennas front and rear, after lunch we went for a blast down Ensinal
Cyn..., (Twisty 2 lane) He has his target speed at 72 mph.. pretty fair for
this road..,  all of a sudden we get a doppler hit.. when we see a Porshe
911 coming the other way.., we glance at the radar unit, and instead of a
speed.. it says "JAM"..., to my friends suprise! and mine.., so he turns on
the guy.. stops him.., and sure enough the guy admits to having a radar
jammer, and wondered why he was stopped.., In this case.., he wished he got
off with a speed ticket.., jamming law enforcement radar is a felony!!!..,
Being the cool guy that he is.., he cited and released him on the scene..,
and took the jammer for evidence.., he could have towed his car and took him
to jail, but it would have taken like 4 hours to book him and do all the
paper..

Yeah I know this is not vette related.., but I remember a recent post about
radar jamming..
