I assume you changed the transmission fluid.  What did you change it with.  
Sounds like you put in the wrong fluid.

Hi guys!
   Things are going great wwith the 4kcsq, I just went through
inspection yesterday and passed! (almost failed me for my wiper
blades... grrr). Anyways, driving home, the car started complaining
about shifts, and as time went on, it got to the point where it would
take 4 or 5 tries to get it into gear. I limped home, but this morning
everything was back to smooth shifting! No trouble at all today.
   There's already a problem with the clutch: the pedal doesn't return
all the way up, it stops about an inch short. A quick lift with my toes
brings it up, but this started my concerns of clutch trouble.
   Anyone have any ideas as to what to check here? Wouldn't want to get
stuck in the boondocks like this (or worse still, in i-95 stop and go
traffic).
