This problem, by my understanding, is unrelated to the other (below). My
guess would be the clutch hydraulics, probably the slave cylinder, not fully
disengaging the clutch. A rebuild/replacement is in order. First off, when
was this system bled (not to be confused with bleeding the brakes)? Even at
the dealer, if you take your car in for a brake bleed, will not bleed the
clutch hydraulic system without specifically asking for it first,
btdt...Your clutch hydraulics could have quite a lot of misc goo clogging it
up...

BTDT. From what I can gather, the pivot points wear, changing the
adjustment of the pedal linkage. I adjusted my linkage over a year ago due
to just this problem, and have had no further functional problems with it.
However, it seems to be making a kind of spring noise upon use recently.
Might have to tear it all down and do it right...BTW, the pedal hangup will
also interfere with your cruise control operation, since the pedal hangs up
just far enough in to disengage the cruise circuit...

Oh, yeah, on adjusting the pedal...there is a two-ended threaded rod that
connects the pedal to the linkage that actuates the hydraulic cylinder.
Loosen the locknuts, and adjust the length of the rod until the "hangup"
goes away. I noticed a slightly raised engagement point, but nothing to
disturb my non-enthusiast wife... Don't forget to re-tighten the locknuts,
or you will re-live this procedure...

Good luck, lemme know if you come across any difficulties...
