You know, I noticed this on the new Golf/Jettas.  It seems when you lift off
the throttle the engines stays at the last indicated revoltuion (ie 3,500
rpms) for only a brief moment, but it's enough to disconcern me a bit.
 Almost like the cruise kicks in for just a sec.  All that I've seen are like
that.  Except the VR6.  Don't know what it is....
