Actually "Audi" is ... Audi was founded in 1909 (the oldest member of
the group, Horch, was founded in 1899).  It became a member of Auto
Union AG in GmbH, and while no Audi cars were built by the company in
the 40s and 50s, the marque has certainly been in existence since 1909.
