Hmmm... you wouldn't count Mercedes, would you? The name 'Mercedes' was
invented by the French importer of the cars (Emile Jellinek, if memory
serves me), who thought German-sounding names like 'Daimler-Benz' would
never sell there... it was his daughter's name, actually.
