Re: AC, no AC



Check the connections to the exterior ambient temperature sensor--if
it's disconnected, there's a good possibility that the A/C head unit
will default to whatever temperature it defaults at, i.e. 140F.
The A/C computer takes in this exterior temperature so that it knows how
much to cool the air that it sends into the cabin.  If the exterior
temperature is very low, the A/C won't kick in at all (at least on my
car); possibly if the A/C thinks that it's 140 degrees outside, maybe it
decides that it can't cope so it just shuts off.  So my first guess
would be to check that sensor out.
