A4 silver paint

Hey everone..I just did it..I tradred in my 97 a42.8 q auto for a 98 stick
with the sport package...I took a hit but I could nt stand the transmission! 
I plan to keep it for 10 yrs so I guess its ok..anyway my question is thta
the paint on my car seems odd..on teh hood th e paint doesnt look
consistent when looked at under certian light conditions and angles..I asked
if teh car was repainted and they said no.the car is the metallic
silver..anyone else have this color and notice is ? Im going to way it
tommorw and see..if it is repainted Ill take the car back..but I figured
that maybe thats the way the paint is..thanks for tyeh help!
