The cold start works only when cranking the engine.And then only for a
few seconds.
Try this remove the valve from the intake manifold,leave the fuel lines
and the electrics connected.Crank the engine but don't let it
start(disconnect coil wire and ground it to engine to prevent sparks)
CAUTION YOU WILL BE SPRAYING FUEL INTO THE AIR!!!!
check the operation of the cold start injector it should only spray for
a brief moment.This amount of time is controlled by the THERMO TIME
SWITCH located at the upper rad hose connection on the cylinder head.
I have only seen a few of theese injectors go bad,usually they quit
alltogether and one which sprayed continiously while cranking.
