Audi CD ROMs/repair manuals

Hi all,

I've been trying to e-mail to Audi Germany in order to get more Audi CD
ROMs besides the A3 item. No luck so far, see copy of reply below. Polite
guys, though.

Dear Mr. Nas,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately we can not serve CD ROMs of other Audi models as they are not
at our disposal.

For any further questions we or the General Importer remain at your entire
disposition.

Yours sincerely

On quite a different subject, visiting the car-and-bike swapmeet last
weekend, I had the opportunity to (quickly) look through the stock of a
German trader in manuals etc. He had a very nice German-language workshop
manual for the A4 (DM 50, if I recall correctly) and a German-language copy
of the workshop manual for the UrQ/SportQ. That one was fat, but rather
steep- DM 150 for the UrQ, DM 45 for the SportQ supplement. Unfortunately,
I lost the business card the guy gave me, but in six months' time I'll have
another opportunity, if anyone's interested.

Bye,

Tom

PS My car just passed its annual test. Two exhaust donuts and a flexible
brake line had to be replaced- barring the recent accident damage, this is
the second repair this year. First was a wheel bearing- still under $100 in
parts in total!
