UrQ Rad Replacement

Trying to reason why Audi did what it did in the early 80's,
especially with
the UrQ can lead premature aging, look at the electrical
system!!

I disagree here. Audi followed a systematic policy of installing
wiring systems with sacraficial wiring. It's obvious, fuses are
very expensive in Germany. Their economists must have
predicted a world-wide fuse shortage.

Thanks for the valuable info. One question, doesn't the lower
temp thermostat combined w/ a lower temp thermo switch
make a difference. Seems to me this would keep the car
cooler at the expense of power drain. I think I'm going with the
Autobahn custom 4000Q radiator.
