Flashing Check Engine Light

I have a problem that may be some one else on the list has encountered with 
their 93 90Q.  Over the last month the check engine light has started to 
flash on then go out.  This started like I said about a month ago, it 
happened one day and then didn't re-appear until three weeks later.  Now the 
light comes on with more frequency most of the time coming to a stop, the 
light flickers and then goes out.  To this day the light has not stayed on 
continously, to warrant a trip to the repair shop.  The vehicle has 63,000 
miles and has be recently tuned.  Can anyone on the list help me solve this 
problem.
