RE: Changing Transmission Fluid and filter...Difficult?

I did this on my 1990 90S automatic this year, and I will never do it again!
I didn't see what kind of Audi you had, but on the 90 it is difficult
becasue the exhaust pipe is in the way and makes it difficult to put the new
pan gasget on. You have to slide the pan over/around the pipe, and evey time
I did this, the darn gasget would become mis-alligned. I did this over and
over for 2 hours! An auto tranny shop charges $30-$50 for a synthetic tranny
fluid change with new filter and gasget. THat's a bargin if you ask me!
