fuel injector cleaning

Our fearless listmeister asks if anyone, anywhere cleans fuel injectors for
less than the $50 or so it costs for a new one.

Yes. There was an article in Auto-X magazine about a company in Holly Hill,
FL which does this for about $25/30 each. Not too much of a savings on a 4
cyl after you add UPS both ways, but they do clean 'em, check 'em, and I
think flow match them.

Don't have the article, but Auto-X magazine (now "Grass Roots Motorsports")
phone is 904 673 4148. Editor's name is Tim Suddard. Nice little magazine,
almost no Audi content except an ad from the guy in Homosassas Springs FL
who does performace stuff for Audi.  Their second-in-command, one "J-G",
wanted to buy my 5KS before I was done fixing it (was take two-make one
car), but I ran him off (nicely, but no, my car is NOT for sale, now go away!)

Other (sad) subject: You know what it is. Take out the names, and the
results would have been the same for you or me: DWI plus speeding plus no
seat belts. Perhaps the law of the land doesn't apply to Royalty, but the
laws of physics apply to EVERYONE - there are NO exceptions.

Why couldn't it have been Saddam Hussein or Idi Amin? Saw the news on CNN
just after coming home from celebrating my 51st birthday . . . spoke to a
number of my friends in the UK Sunday. Truly a shame.
