ABS noises

First, I have to say my ABS exhibits none of the creaks and groans
previously described during the 'self check' at low speeds. Having had it
click off on me following maintenance actions, I know it works.
Last week had another set of control arm bushings installed (7 weeks old -
another story!). After bringing it home I noticed the following during low
speed braking:
As the car would come to a complete stop, the front drivers side caliper
would groan and release. Would not occur during hard braking. Listened to it
for 4-5 days.
 Popped the wheel off, removed the ABS sensor, cleaned, and used the PDQSHIP
installation method - "push that sucker in as hard as it will go". Problem
solved. Time = 15 minutes.
