Hello all,
this Saturday I plan to replace a front strut bearing on my 89 90Q.  The
Bentley shows going through the fun of taking off the axle bolt and the
ball joint.  I see these two bolts at the base of the strut tower that
hold it to the wheel hub.  Has anyone removed the strut tower by
removing these two bolts instead of going through the ball joint dance?
Would I be okay if I carefully marked the position of the bolts before
removal.  I want to get an allignment but not right away.  Is this
possible if I mess with the bolts? Any other suprises?
