Re: A\C problem



This is actually very interesting.  In the dealer's last attempt to fix
the A/C, they did some re-wiring of the control head that they do on
1996 A4's.  The effect that this had was that after you turn on the car
it takes about 4 or 5 seconds for the climate control display to light
up, and when it does, it's set at 71 degrees F with the A/C on (if the
A/C is working, that is).  Could this be related to an incorrect Basic
Setting?
