Destroying it?  I think that's a rather anthropomorphic viewpoint. 
Where do you think tropical island paradises come from?  Volcanic ash
makes great soil!

Can I vent?

I'm a British subject, but Diana's still just another dead person.  Sad,
but only to her real friends.

I have a friend from Montserrat, his family is totally disrupted, but I
hope it blows its top so we can get two years of great sunsets! 
(remember the Mt St. Helens ones?)
