Hi,

Just wanted to thank all those who replied to my query.  I replaced the
cotter pin (!) on the drivers side with a 6mm bolt and it is now
silent!  Unfortunatley replacing the remains of the pin on the passenger
side did not eliminate the loud click on opening - but it's gone when
shutting the door.
