A/C load compensation?

This is a problem I have had ever scince I bought the car. At first
I thought it may have been caused by something else, but when I
replaced my ISV the problem still existed. I'm working with Bentley
on pg 25.59 Vol 1 and it tells me to check for an open ckt between
the compressor and control unit. Which control unit are they refering
to A/C or Idle? I've looked at both wiring diagrams and I have not found

a connection referencing to either of the control units.
