a quattro Saab???

I have a friend who is such a loser. Imagine this:  he's absolutely
bonkers for Saabs. He's on a Saab-lovers list on the internet. He spends
hours a day drooling over his car and "talking" with others about how to
make it better. Can you imagine being this twitchey and introverted???
What a wasted life . . .

Anyway, I told him I'd post this idea to the internet Audi-lovers' list:
He wants to build a "race" (auto-x and street killer) car for his SO
He affirms the superiority of the quattro setup as I regularly spank his
DSP (turbo-added, struts, springs, cross-drilled, etc, ~48 seconds) Saab
99 with my HS 4kq (~45 seconds).
The question:  can a Saab turbo motor bolt up to a 016, and could a
4kq/synchro rear end (he was _ecstatic_ to see the whole rear drivetrain
on a subframe, needing only upper strut mounts) be grafted into a Saab
Sonnet?

I tried to talk him into dropping a turbo into a 4kq, but you know how
some people can be about a particular marque. =8~O
