Exhaust headpipe donut replacement: Advice wanted...

Great, I leave the list (still check the archives) and my car starts
falling apart.  I've blown out (count 'em) three exhaust donuts at the
spring loaded joint at the rear of the headpipe...anybody else have this
problem...the replacements (I just found out) were aftermarket.  The donut
blows after high RPM excursions...track time, etc.  Will the OEM donut
(sleeve) hold up or is there another solution?  Car is a 90-90Q20v.
