Just try insuring an 18 year old here in the US... it was between $120
and $180 a month when we put our 18 year old on our Chevy S-10
depending on which hoops they had us jump thru (discount for good
grades etc.).  This is as plain a pickup as they come - 4-cyl
no options.

...and the 97 A4 1.8TQ is _cheaper_ to insure than the 86 5k CSQ for
the same coverage...
