vacuum pump

Does anyone happen to know what the performance specs on a vacuum pump for
cruise control should be?  As in, how much vacuum?

Might cruise hasn't worked in years and I attempted (again) to fix it this
weekend.  After rebuilding/rewriring the switch and performing all Bentley
tests it still didn't work.

I jumpered pins 4/7/8 to activate the pump and valve, but the bellows
didn't move.  Using the Mity-Vac showed it moves at about 3 - 3.5 in Hg
vacuum.  It also holds and releases when it's supposed to.  Hooking the
gauge to the pump shows a whopping 2.0 in Hg.

I performed this test last year and it pulled the bellows just fine.  

Any ideas what a pump costs?
