At about 4000rpm?
I had similar in my ur-q. The inlet air temperature probe (in the intercooler 
on my car) had a faulty connection. The wires are soldered to the probe but 
one of them had come adrift. Because there is a load of oil around it getting 
things clean for resoldering was a real PITA, and I had to be real careful not 
to melt the plastic fitting.
